Dayton Performing Arts Alliance

In 2012, leadership of the Dayton Opera, Dayton Ballet, and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra created a groundbreaking and innovative merger, forging these three art forms into one organization named the Dayton Performing Arts Alliance. This merger is the first of its kind in the nation—in no other city can performing arts lovers experience the dramatic collaboration with the range and depth of experiences being offered in the Dayton community.

Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra

Davi Martinelli de Lira joined the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra as Section Percussionist in 2018.

Though the SWFLSO began its life as a community orchestra consisting of volunteer musicians in April 1961, it has evolved into a fully professional ensemble that now employs 70 musicians, many of whom travel great distances to perform here each season. Our core orchestra is hired through a rigorous, highly competitive audition process that is considered the gold standard in the orchestral field.

Britt Festival Orchestra

Davi Martinelli de Lira joined the Britt Festival Orchestra as Section Percussionist in 2022.

The Britt Festival Orchestra (BFO) brings a professional group of musicians together each summer to perform a remarkably diverse selection of music under the stars, ranging from traditional classical to modern works. Established in 1963, our orchestral summer festival spans 3 weeks each summer in the historic and beautiful southern Oregon town of Jacksonville. Our musicians come from across the globe performing with many respected year-round orchestras and teaching at some of the finest conservatories and universities in the world. The summer festival spans 20 days in June and early July with at least six performances with the full BFO, plus additional events such as chamber music events, and curated performances for children.

Davi has worked with some the most prestigious orchestras in the country and maintains a busy schedule as an extra musician throughout the whole season. Some of the groups he has performed with include: Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Richmond Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Oregon Symphony, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Omaha Symphony Orchestra, and Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra.
